A confessional Reformed Baptist congregation…
What is a confessional Reformed Baptist church?
We are a body of believers dedicated to worshipping God and living out the Christian life in a way that honors God and is in line with God’s revealed will in the Holy Scriptures. We believe that the central message of the Bible is the powerful message of the pure gospel in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe this wonderful good news with all our hearts and we teach and preach it without apology, being fully convinced that there is no salvation apart from true and sincere faith in this Christ. If you have any uncertainty concerning this vital message about God’s salvation in Jesus Christ, we would count it a privilege to share it with you!
- Confessional – We subscribe to the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith as a helpful summary of the key doctrines Scripture including God, man, Christ, salvation, life in the church, and the coming judgement.
- Reformed – We follow in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation and hold to the key Reformed Doctrines (the “Five Solas”).
- Baptist – We practice baptism by emersion for Christians who publicly confess Christ and seek to join themselves to our congregation.
